Treatment

We had a 16-year-old patient from Uzbekistan who was battling cancer on her right shoulder. Her parents were desperately seeking medical options , as her home country of Uzbekistan lacked the medical facilities for her treatment. Therefore, we helped her in getting treatment in FMRI, Gurgaon after she reached us via our website with her problem.

Background of the Problem

Her family had consulted with many doctors in Uzbekistan regarding the condition and they were advised her to go for chemotherapy. Her parents wanted to get the best treatment for her daughter and hence they decided to travel abroad for treatment and from there they came to know about EasyCure. We showed her reports to Indian doctors and opinion was provided to her. She came to India on 2nd November 2017.

About the Treatment

After an initial evaluation of the patient physically, the patient was advised to undertake several tests related to the problem. Whole body CET scan and PET scan was done. As nothing was clear even after PET CT so doctors decided to do a biopsy to confirm the area damaged by a tumour. It was a long process as various feasibility tests were to be done. The first cycle of Chemotherapy was done in India and further 2 more chemotherapy cycles were done in Uzbekistan. Her initial stay in India was 23 days. She will be back in India shortly for the operation in January.
